WuFlu and Live Shows (UPDATE) ...

Folks, I just wanted to provide an update and let y'all know they are recently allowing a "first wave" of volenteers to return to the station to do live shows. So, eventually I will get back to doing live shows - or perhaps a hybrid of two prerecorded shows and two live shows a month.

In other news, I have been slowly porting my playlist to spotify, which you can get here:

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4rudYoicnXcKUISaBr72kn?si=6f1ef8e96e734ba3

I haven't been able to figure out how to make it "discoverable" by searching in spotify so you need to copy/share the link or come back to the blog to get it. When I start doing posts again, this will be part of every playlist post going forward and I will be mentioning it on the show.

Wu Flu and live shows ...

Folks,

As y'all might have noticed, volenteer DJs are no longer allowed in the KTOO studios (where KRNN is broadcast from) due to the Wu Flu. I have been sharing my syndicated show with Shely, so that is what has been airing. This will continue until I am allowed back in the studio where I still start posting my shows/playlists again.

FWIW, the syndicated shows are put together using music I already played on my live show. I will continue to introduce music I have never played before only on my live shows. The "already played on Southern Exposure" catalog is close to three thousand unique songs, so if you are looking for something you haven't heard before then go digging through the years of playlists to find something to search for on Spotify/etc.

Look busy and stay safe!

I want to apologize for missing two shows in a row. The first miss was frankly the 80 mile an hour gusts downtown at 12 degrees or so. No thanks. The second miss was because I was in Cancun catching Dead and Co. I had a chance to go with a friend at the last minute - I asked my boss at 8PM on Sunday and was on a plane at 6PM Monday. This is a tequila, Mexico, beach, gulf, etc tribute show. Enjoy!
